sorry about the picture format. A friend wants to clear out his yard. Has a 65 barracuda which looks like a 4 speed. From the pictures it looks pretty straight. He has a 340 or 360 for it. He does not know which one. I can’t tell from the pictures. He wants to sell it to my son. His dad owned it for 32 years. By the looks of it it has sat for 31 of those years. Tell me what y’all think. It may be a 66. I’ll let the pros chime in.

It's a 65.

I would grab that .... QUICK !! for 5 bills.

Looks pretty decent and a lot of good parts.

You can't beat that price

I see 500 dollars in parts so even if it's a rusted hulk underneath, yeah, you can get your money back.

64-65 dash
Cant see the whole tail light 64-66
65 grill setting on the back seat
Is the steering wheel 2 or 3 spoke?
Tack on the left of the steering wheel, it could be an "S"
A-pillar trim is still there
K frame is v8
Side glass and windshield
V8 draglink

Phista is looking for an antenna base!

The rear seat matches the one I have listed

You want to add up $1, 000 in parts.. and that's selling parts cheap and getting rid of them. You don't want to go through all this to make your money back....

The side view mirror looks like it belongs to my Dad's old '68 Cadillac.

Edit: I don't blame 'em, those little round factory mirrors are the pits.

Ford Galaxy!

We haven't seen the underside but I've seen some worse cars restored.

It looks like a z-bar dangling in the engine compartment picture. Maybe is a 4spd car. Cool looks straight least the bumpers and headlight frames.

I’m hoping it’s restorable.

Can see the 2 into 1 exhaust in the engine bay edit edit edit edit

I'm in the process of parting a 65 out right now.

It is a 4 speed. You can see the markings on the shifter if you zoom in.

Can see the 2 into 1 exhaust in the engine bay, did you happen to notice if it had the dual valance cutout?

'64 and '65 instrument clusters were different. This one is a '65.
ALL '65 A-bodies had the K-member. There was no early A separate V8 member.
No dual exhaust on any early A-body. '65 Commando cars had a large single cutout for the resonator.

Book it, Dano! If you can haul it out, its got a lot of good part on it. Hell, the 65 tach alone can fetch ~$400, but that one looks too round.....
