Fiat didn't take ownership of Chrysler until Jan. 2014. Doubtful if there were any Fiat engineering changes made before that date. The way big corporations work, it probably took years before anything important got changed by Fiat.

That seems logical. I'm not saying they made the changes, just that they occurred in that time frame.
