If you think German cars are complex and expensive to repair the French make the Krauts look like amateurs.
BS. Everyone knows you can't repair French automobiles.

Renault is with Nissan #Japan.Peugeot has come a long way (and it's merger, not a purchase). It's not like they got bought by Renault.
Is this from experience? If you think German cars are complex and expensive to repair the French make the Krauts look like amateurs.
To each his own, but....you need your head checked 'dude'...The question was styling dude. Haven't seen a Camero, Mustang, Challenger or Chrysler300 that looked that kool. "Pile of dirt" interesting choice of words.
They still do! Some are just a tad bit pricy thoughYou guys do realize that Europe built some wicked cars.... right ?
Do some research on Aston Martin DB3 & 5s... Jag E types ... etc. they made some muscle cars of their own in the 60s!
??? You lost me on the "need your head checked" deal. Explain. To each his own, but....you need your head checked 'dude'...

I just had to razz ya a little!
Gm's already heading toward China, arent they?Gm and Ford just keep getting smaller and smaller. They’re going to have to merge themselves if they want to compete in a global market.
My brother imported " grey market" European cars in the 80's. He federalized them so they could be sold here in the states. I worked for him PT driving the cars from Milwaukee to the EPA test station in Chicago. Too many German and French stories to tell. The only neat Escargot-mobile was the R-5 I drove that dusted some redneck in a Camaro with a tunnel ram. Smoked him from two toll plazas on my way South...never knew what hit himIs this from experience?
The Euro market is dying. Sales are in the dumpster. And there's so much BS trying to build cars in 3rd world countries that GM and Ford should just stay home and make $$$ on their trucks.Gm and Ford just keep getting smaller and smaller. They’re going to have to merge themselves if they want to compete in a global market.
Think u got it backwards-----M-B was bad.... Fiat certainly has been a bit better with product. Now Mopar will have Puegeot as the new owner?
The only people who should own French cars live in France!
I don't think many of us like it. And it really doesn't matter if we accept it. I'm glad these buyouts and mergers keep the old US brands alive. But they really aren't American cars anymore anyway and haven't been for a while. In addition to my Duster, I have an '03 Daimler? Neon, and an '09 Journey (Mexican built and not even sure who was running Chrysler at the time) If I was to buy a new vehicle right now, I would certainly not be exclusively looking at 'Mopar'. Maybe a RAM if I wanted a truck... I'd actually like to see some smaller cars back in their lineup. Right now from FCA the only ones available are FIATs. They sell a Neon in Mexico, but not here. Not saying I want a Neon. How bout something new?I'm glad some of you accept any and everything, but it's my freedom of choice not to. I don't like or accept...
I like nothing at all about any of this. The "Europeanization" of murica. Chineseofied parts are bad enough
