Stock bb radiator hoses

Does anyone know where to buy hoses for stock bb radiator part number 2863209 and 2863243, or if anyone knows a place a buy them. I think I found Mancini sells the top one but no bottom. Thanks.

Unless you want rubber I use flexible stainless from Silicone Intakes. You buy only what you need.

For my duster, i have a 22" rad, so all i did was fine Goodyear part numbers for a 68 Plymouth Barracuda with a 383 in it. Got both top and bottom, both fit great. Ordered both hoses thru local Jobber parts store.

Nice! You don’t happen to still have the good year part numbers do you
 
Goodyear is now Continental. Part numbers stayed the same. So the upper is 60662 and the lower is 60659. Get them thru RockAuto.
 
The spring served no other purpose than to speed the vacuum fill on the assembly line when the car was built. If you need a spring, there is something wrong with your cooling system.
 
Those hoses do not have springs in them, and they have never collapsed. They have worked great since day one. Hope it works out and i was able to help.
 
When bottom hose is older and engine is warm, a high output water pump can suck it closed without a spring in it.
 
I would imagine a high output water pump could have some bearing on my above statement. I have never used one.
 
I work at Continental, used to be Goodyear belt and hose plant. Back in the early years when we still produced hoses, There would be totes coming down the conveyer, the hose going to the OE plants Chrysler, Ford, and GM, the bottom hoses had the coils in them. Then totes with the same hose going to the dealers and parts houses wouldn't have the coil in them.

That's when the hoses were made right, mine still had the original lower hose on it after 50 years.
 
I'm happy that most of you haven't had an issue with a collapsing lower issue. I have seen it twice. Reving up the motor in the shop you can watch the hose collapse flat. Didn't replace the hose. Removed the spring from an old throw away hose and put it in my hose. Fixed it.

I planned on getting a spring just to be safe. Better to spend 5 bucks now than having to pull the hose, installing it, draining all the fluids, etc.
