$10k for what you can't see.....I understand having an asking price but seriously, I'd rather have $5k in my hand then zero and a pile of junk to get rid of. Then to try to stick it in peoples face that I'd rather crush it then not get my asking price, it just made him look like the worlds largest dumb ***. He's probably pissed he couldn't find that $150 LS everyone talks about to put in it.

Looks just like the one here in o side, guy is a turd and so is the car ...that has sat for the 20 + years I've lived here. Total asshole. No shortage of people like that. If it was worth it... he would have fixed it himself and drove it/sold appropriately

That guy did us all a favor by showing us what ignorance is, does, and best of all looks like......yes it was his I agree on that part I am very happy he shared his pissing away $4K. Knowing he won't be able to own it either even makes me happy.
He reminds of those guys on YouTube who drive and talk while driving their Hellcats. Total A-holes.
I can understand why so many of his "buyers" backed out after dealing with this guy.

I had a guy come here for a car to work on with his dad and son he was in his late 20's early 30's. I told him $300 or $400 for this dart drive it away. 318 auto 8 3/4 rear.
He went and got his dad. While he was gone I put the red scamp deck lid on it and pulled it out from the back of the garage.
The nose was nice and I didn't have any use for the rest of the car.
When he returned the dad was kicking tires for about an hour. He made me a low ball offer and wanted to take the car and make payments. I told him I'll think about it and got in the loader. You should have seen their faces when I grabbed it buy the back with the rock bucket. I got out of the loader and went back in the garage.
I later stripped the car and made more money. But ruining the deck lid was worth the looks on there faces. I didn't care for saving the body anyway I had several Guys that wanted the front end and the rear. plus some trim parts.
I sort of know what that guy was thinking. But he cut off his nose to spite his face on that choice.
I have a better story about a 72 340 Demon if you are interested. I believe it is a members car on this site. He tried to low ball my son and I. He'll never do that again.

That were already shelved. The body was separate. from the fenders, the interior ,the hood, the 4 spd. I still have the tailights , scoop and shifter. after 13 yrs. Just shows the guy is mentally unstable, nothing more.
That's not fair to say. Maybe he has 10 other 70 charges in prestine condition. Maybe he has tons of money and 5-20k really isn't a drop in the bucket for him.
Fun story- my uncle, who is very very religious, was building his 25,000 sq ft house with 2 seperate 5 car garages to go with his 7 car attached garage. Floors were all white marble with white marble columns etc. Beautiful house.
One of the people doing the installation of his white marble floors pointed out that in the middle of the night rooms the black in the marble looked like a silhouite of a naked woman. My uncle right then made up his mind and had the installer rip up all of the marble in entire room and reinstall new marble. (There are many expensive stories to go along with this house that are all like this, some of them 2-300k in price and its not a drop in the bucket to him)
Point I'd the story- some people can do things like this, not have to worry about the sunk costs because they have so much money it doesn't matter.

It wouldnt matter if he was a multi-millionaire. To destroy something that is not replaceable is just pure stupidity. Not sure how he thought he was punishing someone else by crushing his own car. That is some strange behavior right there.
