68 Barracuda Radio Delete Plate

Has anyone seen a factory radio delete plate for 68?
If you have one, please post some pictures.
Looking for one if they are out there.
 
Technically, it is a block of plate.

Radios were extra cost options so you would not have added an option & then deleted it.

You simply ordered a car with no radio specified.

You could get cars without a radio for the '68 model year, so the block off plates do exist.
 
Every 68 Hemi Barracuda came with one, google that! I have had several plates over the years, but currently do not.
 
Here is 67 one they work, the 68 is a little thinner and not cheap. The last one I sold for 450.00. 67 work and is a lot cheaper. I am looking for picture of the 68 once

Like I said 67 barracuda delete plate fits perfect in 68 Barracuda

You should start a wanted ad if you are looking for one.
 
Cha ching on the 68 because it involves the word "HEMI". Also the exterior door mirror blanking plate.
If it was me, I'd probably get a chunk of 1/8" aluminum and make one. Not 100% correct but it would look ok.
 
Thanks guys, I did not realize they were so rare. Guess not much of a demand for them, so they are not reproduced.

Just use the 67 rally dash one, it's the same size and a lot less money.
 
A reproduction is shown on the SS & AFX site, but only the face is shown and it doesn't look correct IMO.
At least if you use a 67 version it will appear correct in the dash, and as Davescuda said a lot easier and cheaper to obtain.
Also, since he posted pics I didn't bother with mine, it's the same, unless you want different angles or a closer view.
