Hey FABO, I just want to introduce myself and say thank you to everyone. My name is Mike, I live in Riverside California and I have been a daily lurker for a number of years and a member for a few. I have owned many A bodies over the years , (my first car was a 72 swinger I bought when I was 15 and I still have it, 24 years later) and this site has been a valuable resource for me. I will be posting a car for sale a little later and I didn't want a for sale add to be my first post, hence the post here. Hopefully in the future I can contribute to the site a little more and share a little. Thank you to the active members who share and have shared so much with FABO for such a long time, it makes this site great. Mike

Welcome to FABO Mike!
I have a 72 Duster that has been a part of the family since 1978 and has been parked for a lot longer than being driven, but I'm working on adding miles when the snow is not on the ground, mostly to shows in my area or family get togethers. Post some pics of the Swinger, would love to see it.

Welcome Mike, I have a 70 swinger. Post some pics of your 72. Stay safe down there in cal.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Really my 72 is not much to take pictures of at the moment. It was stock when I bought it years ago and has been in many configurations over the years. Street car, drag car, etc. It has had 4 different small blocks in it from 318 to 408 and currently has nothing in the engine bay. I pulled the last smallblock out, a stock 318, and gave it to a FABO member 2 years ago. The car sat in my backyard for 12 years (life happened) and I only recently drug it out to start working on it. Then I had the opportunity to buy another one of my favorite cars (63 falcon) and the dart was put on hold to build that. Once the falcon is done I will return to building the dart. I’ll snap a few pics later today and put them up.
