Took my 2nd grade grandson on the last ride of the year not long ago. He asked me what I was going to do with my Duster when I died.(Do I look old??). Told me he wanted it. Can't argue with that.

I'm happy for you that you HAVE a grandson! That he is also interested in the car at that age is a HUGE plus! Congrats!

No grandchildren here and looks as if there won't be any either. My cars will have to be destroyed when I'm too old for them, and that's not far off. Not going to sell them.

He loves it. Likes wrenching on it, loves when I get on it. Big smile, “That was fun!”.

Why not find a high school nearby that has an Automotive Program and donate them.

Yep, your are lucky he wants it. My grandson wanted my race car when I am gone. I made a deal with the 14 year old, graduate high school, get at least a two year degree, or go to a trade school & I'd give him the car, trailer, & truck to tow it with. When it came down to going to the races & working on the car, his interest waned, quickly.
