SB turbo headers?

Though the Turbo idea is a relatively new one for me, after spending damn near every weekend at the track this past summer i've become pretty convinced that Turbo's ain't no joke.
I haven't purchased any parts yet since I just started reading a book about Turbo's and want to understand what the hell i'm doing before I just start buying parts , I am SERIOUSLY considering the addition of a single or twins to a 408 in my (primarily street) 65' Cuda where space is at a premium and I've yet to see any pics of a Turbo installed in a 65' on a V8.

I've never been one to utilize cheaper components and prefer to wait if necessary until i've got the coin to get the "better" stuff, this is actually the first time i've seen small block manifolds offered and already like the idea 16 vs 18 gauge.

I'd be just drooling to see the Turbo setup in a 65' if anybody has pics of that.

I say GO FOR IT but just make sure your eyes are wide open.

I say that because...

1. You are using my favorite car...an early A, but you already know how small they really are and...

B. Any time you are doing anything like a turbo or Pro Charger getting exhaust is really the issue.

When I first started playing with turbos it was the same deal. Exhaust is critical for good turbo performance and making all that fit in an early A, especially if the inner fenders are still there is the perfect storm for making your hair fall out trying to get a decent exhaust system on it.

If you can deal with that then you'll find much of the rest of it pretty pedestrian really.

What book are you reading?? My only turbo book (if I can find it) is from the early 1980's.
