Stop in for a cup of coffee

I think your right, but 6014's are still out there. Mopar buddy John said 6014's were what he used for a replacement.
My takeaway from the experts is that a lamp made in the 60s on fresh tooling is generally better than a new lamp made on poor or worn out tooling.

According to that book put to gether for police investigations, Chrysler didn't start using 6014s until '73 IIRC.

I'm sure we can scounge up some period correct lamps if you want.
Like I said, I've got two - their just not matched set.
Early lamps don't have the amount of markings on them latter lamps do.

I have to lok today, I have quite a few of them also if needed. Which ones are correct Craig? The ones with the wider rib on the lens? Think FCBO had a discussion on them.

What headlights Craig?
I think both TMM and I had saved some original or close to it lamps.
Mine are not a matched set. One GE and the other might be Westinghouse, which I dont thing is correct for delivery. I think Chrysler used GE and Tungsol
I will check for you later. I saved my old lamps

Everyone seems busy around here, finally Finished the drive shaft yesterday

@slantsixdan may have some insight. I've seen posts on CPF indicating he also does or did some collecting of classic lamps...

Well for now its the best I can do.
I wanted to get away from the halogen headlights I have now.
Looking at the car, it was the real last incorrect piece starring at you.
The 6014 GE's look like they should.
Not to worried about the extra watts I don't drive it at night.:D
I would want a matching set, so if you see them let me know.

Thanks man. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, but I ain't gonna make it. LOL I'm trying real hard though. The guy needs help and he's a friend so I am going to push myself probably until it's too late. LOL I am using my rolling seat, though. A lot.

Pace yourself!?
Can you see about getting some physical therapy? I found a place by me - didn[t need refereral for 30 days. They give you excercises and stretching etc to do at home as well. What's the kids song? The hip bone connects to foot bone. But its true!!
OK. That's where I've got to go now. Then work..

I am. The problem is, I have so many OTHER health issues to deal with on top of everything else. We'll see.

I'm not sure look like the GE pic Matty posted following your post. I'd think 6012 be printed on the back side??

I think mine are a matched pair but I will look. Probably not originals but you never know. They would be 70's though. I think Darin finds date coded ones for his A12 cars.

Good evening folks.

I have a language question.

June and I was just at Kohl's, and I was looking for soles to put inside the shoes. And could not find it. So, I asked a lady there that was wiping up some dust, "Excuse me, do you guys have soles, (and then I realized she might be only a cleaning person so I continued the question without stopping) or are you just cleaning here". The answer came rather quick when I had finished my question. "No" was the answer.

I did not get very wise from her answer, so when we came out I asked June, is it uncommon to ask a question the way I did, with an "or" in between ? Because I have had this happen to me before that I asked an either or question and get a no or a yes back which obviously does not make much sense. June then says, yes, we do not like questions like that, we want a question where we can answer only yes, or no. And that's it.
In fact, the first thing June said, "you set her up". What ?????

So, I am quite puzzled. She has earlier told me that people in stores here does not like to be asked questions and dislike having to help people. And, I have seen that maybe especially at Home Depot. It is almost impossible for me to get help there. The staff do whatever they can not to have to walk by me, and the more and more I walk around trying to find a thing, and they obviously see that I am looking, and the more and more people disappear. It is quite frustrating. I am not used to such behavior.
And, when she goes to a store she walk around until she find it or give up and go to a different store, rather than ask anyone for help. And it is like that no matter what store it is.

So, now I wonder if this is a universal United States thing, or a California thing, or even more local, limited to around here ?

Bill

I have found the Midwestern small towns are the best for kind people who want to help. It is where I like it best.

So it's 2 o clock here and absolutely freezing.

They say beer warms a person, so there was one lonely beer in a can that my friend left.
It's cold, made me chill, threwi but somehow the cat starting joking and he is funny.

I feel tried but I can't sleep, don't want to pee in bed but it's cold out.

I can't find my keys so I think they are still in the car but I think the doors are frozen shut which is not good because the headlights are still on. I think I messed up bad and left it in 2 gear

The tires are not even pressure regulator to but frozen.

I don't want to ride with the cat he might get sick abs he c wants to e as t.
I could go for

What is a poly headdress in my trunk.
I think it's sad, so sad that he doesn't want to help me. I need his help I can't lift that when I'm cold.
I a m using the word as a key to the duster trunk bench rusty.

Wow ion tired from walking so much but I think I I lost my shoe in the key to the trunk duster

UMMMMM????

I'm more into the correct look, and not necessarily date coded headlights.
Looking forward to taking another look at his car.

God Morgen and happy Thor's Day coffee land.... Supposed to help clean out that storage unit tomorrow and bring that Super Bee home, along with a couple big blocks. I will post pics when I have some. AM is supposed to be 8º and a high of 29º

Today looks like a high of 77, 78 for tomorrow. I am enjoying the weather.

Looks like a GE and a Westinghouse. They must be new enough not to have stampings on the back. Their yours if you need them or can make a matched pair with another.
