5.9 360 Engine from a 2500 Ram for my 67 Dodge Dart
I'm just getting going on my swap. Using a 5.9 out of an 01 van.
Went with Edelbrock Performer RPM heads from Mancini. Edelbrock 7577 Air Gap intake and will run a 4 bbl carb. New timing chain, using my car oil pan. I'm keeping the V-belts but I sourced a 71(?) timing cover with the timing marks on the driver's side. Will also run an electric fuel pump with a block off plate.
I just wanted to do it once so I sent my cam to Oregon Cam for a regrind, and have the block at the machine shop getting bores honed, new rings, main, rod, and cam bearings.
