I had a MSD Ecurve dissy in my car years ago. my engine would turn about two or three revolutions before firing and when I was working away and only comming home after a month my car was very hard to start. I found you had to have very good voltage in the battery for the ignition to fire. one day I could not start it, no spark. I pulled the dizzy out and put my cheap chinese dizzy in. It fired straight away and never idled better. Would crank half a turn and fire up straight away. My 410 ran a best of 11.4 @ 120mph with this dizzy and heaps better than the Ecurve MSD. I now have the programable ice ignition in it now but have not taken it to the track as yet!I know there is fake MSD units out there but where is the genuine MSD units made. China? There is not a lot of things made in USA now is there?
