For Wood Burners: Kindling Cracker

Anybody who would use a gimmick like that would probably run into the back of an old lady and blame it on her..:poke:..

We used to pick up the pieces from splitting the wood in the first place and fill metal coffee cans with them and a little kerosene for fire starters.
Not enough kerosene to make the pieces dripping wet, but just enough to make them damp with it, and then keep the can around the corner out of the direct heat with the lid on it.
