Works fine. Took it out of a housing I was running. I just got a quote for someone today. I will keep you posted. However shipping to Hawaii will probably more than what it is worth. Never know though.

I got the medium flatrate box, put it in and it stuck out about 3 in. Asked lady at counter and she told me no good. Its wintertime and miserable here in the north now, our postal workers don't have the Aloha spirit like yours do. Ha That is interesting though, may try another post office. Thanks for the heads up man. I thought I read a thread about a sure grip sent flat rate. Must have been yours because I discussed that with the person I got a quote for today. However, may come down to a particular worker or store like everything in this world.
 
Would it fit if you took it apart or have you tried that already? I hate paying more for shipping than something is worth but sometimes that is the only way.
 
You could if you split it in half maybe. To be honest I have never had one of those apart to know what is involved putting it back together. I would be too afraid of hurting a great unit. Good idea though
 
It's not hard , but it will take up almost same amount of space. Unless u want to inspect insides. I don't recommend it !
