What do you use to winterize?

I keep driving my Duster in winter but when it comes to mice that's a fairly constant problem especially during changes of season. I personally wouldn't try repellants to keep the mice out of my car, I have had them get in and I just kill the damn things with good traps. The old-school wooden ones only work on adult mice, baby ones aren't heavy enough to trip them; I get the plastic white ones I think they're "Tom-Cat" brand, also I put a small dab of Nutella on there they go CRAZY for that stuff, it's like crack-cocaine form of peanut butter since it's very nutty but also sugary. I'd just place a few traps on the ground around the car and maybe one or two inside (obviously don't forget about them, gotta check every couple days).

I've found that mice tend to have "families", once you kill off the whole family you won't get any more for a while. At least around here, plus we have 2 outdoor cats that catch everything around our house. The poison is good to place around corners and entrances to the garage, don't want them dying in some hard-to-reach spot and making your garage smell rotten.
