What are you brewing? I just cracked open some Octoberfest. Just a Mr. Beer kit. Good stuff. I have done some partial mashes, Canadian Blonde, Orange Shandy and a few others. I finally broke down and bought a mini frig and have a co2 and corny keg set up which I have kegged a couple batches in. Lots of fun.

For a guy who just does Home brew batches, you sure seem to have a lot of high quality labels for them...

My cousin does. Hes been at it for a while now. He makes some dam fine brew.

I'd have to ask him where but he does get labels made. He sends the PDF to some place and they send him the labels.

He makes a hard cider that will lay you out.

Man, the Octoberfest looks great!

My woman and I just got into homebrewing earlier this year. It's an addicting hobby for sure and a fun way to spend a nice day outside. Currently, we've got an english brown ale on tap and 10 gals of a sculpin ipa clone in the fermenter.

Here's a shot of the Irish red ale we just killed, along with a couple recent brews (chocolate stout and Pliny DIPA clone).

It's amazing to me how much science is involved in this stuff.

It's a fun and rewarding hobby for sure. A couple good looking brews there.

ANyone need my recipe list just pm me. I've brewed for years and have mastered imo the summer ale. It's a Microsoft excel spreadsheet. Bates

I sure wish I was retired, but I've still got about 15 years to go. I do work from home though... so many temptations.

Just did my first batch and turned out real good. Orderd a new kit and looking forward to the next batch. Thanks Toolman for setting me up..

I brewed all the beer I drank for about 25 years, but sadly life got in the way and I had to forgo the hobby for a while. Now that I'm semi-retired, it's time to blow the dust off the equipment and get busy again. I thought I had photos of the brew kitchen I built in the shop, but I guess they got lost. :(

Always fun to share the enjoyment. Glad it worked out for you. The wife and I went to a art and craft show today. My wife bought some jewelry from a gal and we got talking about hobbies. Next year she wants to trade some of my beer for some jewelry. Score!

Yep, clean her up and get busy. I didn't start until I retired a couple years ago. Having a blast and enjoying the rewards.

I started a thread last year so I merged the two. I had an old thread from a few years back but it got into distilling and I deleted it.

i always wanted to try to brew some beer.. just don't have the patients for it though..:)
Start out with a simple Mr Beer kit. Easy and fun and you would be surprised how good it is.
