I have eaten goat kid meat. Well, kid and kid, like they are born in the spring, and we slaughtered them around when the snow came in the fall. They do not smell much different than a lamb/sheep. It is very lean and good meat. Excellent food. Male adult goats on the other hand, that is not edible in my opinion. I am not fond of goat cheese. The furthest I can accept it is Norwegian Gudbrandsdalsost.
