Identification and advice

Be aware that many headers will interfere with the linkage. Basically, could be a big PITA. People usually resort to an aftermarket shifter (B&M, etc...) that uses a cable. A lot easier to install too. (You're going to have to correctly locate, and then weld that bracket to the floor. As well as cutting a hole in the right place.)

So aftermarket shifters are easier. I'm assuming smoother too.
