I was given some hand-me-down kind of rubbery loose fitting casual rubbery "shoe" (medium 10/11) that appeared to be comfortable. I only wore them twice, both times the toes of my bare foot kept slamming up into the toe end of the shoe and that was most uncomfortable. Maybe I am missing something here?

Then their the wrong size. U can’t go by what ur regular shoe size is. I have 2 pair, I really like them for the lake. 1 pair I use as a slipper in the house when the floor is cold. Don’t wear them out in the rain or on slippery surfaces. U will go for a ride like never b4. Don’t ask me how I know. Lol. Kim.
My niece says their for babies on the beach and old ppl in the garden

Where did you get that. I need that in my life.

I told my wife if she ever buys me a pair and brings them home, I would change the locks. There is however a real cool cat on here from down South who has them. They just aren't for me.

Heres mine, showing my patriotism.
OP, dunno how you can squawk about $3 shoes you got for free?? Maybe shake the moths outta yer wallet.

I’m single with two sons so every year for Birthdays and Christmas all I ask for is a hug and a kiss. This makes surprises like this impossible. I buy blue jeans, new balance shoes, Racing shirts, and a few collared shirts for church. End of story.

I dont care for them, but I will say this...the straps on them make GREAT behavioral modification devices

How do the New Balance shoes feel? I have Brooks Walking Addictions and am thinking of trying New Balance.

New Balance Men's MW411 are OK, I use some removable arch supports in 'em. I had to have them repaired when they split open at the toe.

Edit: I also have some New Balance Men's MA365 which ran a little tight and the bottom of the soles wore down smooth pretty quickly. They are very light, not very heavy duty.

Recently purchased a pair of Nike Air Monarch.

I started walking and got up to 4 miles a day back in 2015 and by that and watching bad carbs lost 55 pounds. In 2016 I got planters facetious. I self treated myself and then researched tennis shoes. They were the only American made ones and had the best arch. I’m sold and have been buying them at my local JCPennys store ever since and my feet feel great.

I am struggling with that right now. It got so bad, I had to quit my job at O'Reilly. It's still pretty bad, but I have taken another job helping a friend doing all the mechanical work he needs done at his restoration shop. I have nice Craftsman rolling seat and he says he wants me no matter what so if I need to sit down it's no big deal. Feet still hurt though. I have some custom insoles that should be here in a week or three and I was going to buy some new shoes at the same time. Thanks, I may try the New Balance. Is there a particular style?

You may want to try the Apex prescription shoes made for diabetics. I started wearing them 8 years ago and they are a godsend. I am much lighter now than I was then, but these shoes are still my favorite to reduce leg and foot pain.

They aren’t cheap, but my current pair have lasted 3 years and are still going strong. Well worth the price to me.

Kitty and got diabetic shoes just this year. I don't know the brand, though. They aren't that great.
