Identifying 2 dash wires

I have 2 under dash wires for the life of me I can't trace. I've looked at wiring diagrams and still nothing. Car is a 1971 Dart with air. Where do they plug into?

Purple and blue
 
My brain is telling me the purple is for backup light if it was a 67.

But that is my brain and we all know how good it is.
 
I believe I found it. Way on top of the heater box is the evaporator temperature control switch. Looks like they plug into that.
