Crocs are a Crock of #$%%

What did you have done? The only operation I know if for it is when they go in and clip the big tendon between the front of the heel and ball of the foot. I'm not doin it. My doctor says you basically have to learn to walk again. Is that what you had done?
After trying all the therapy/exercises, I finally had one foot done. Dr did not "clip" the tendon, just removed some of it's width in the length-wise direction. Supposedly that would weaken it, and cause less pain. From a mechanical engineering point of view, it all made sense. Operation was supposed to be simple, quick, with almost no recovery time. Post-op I could not walk on that foot for weeks, it was so painful. Once it finally healed it did feel better for a couple years, but seems to be just as bad as it was originally now. Certainly not worth the extra pain & suffering of the operation!
