13.3's to 11.8's to Forget it...

So, that big stack of time slips are all from that one hot combo you built?
The one you ran 11’s with?
If so, nice job!!

But.....if that stack is from various iterations where you pulled it apart to change things around...... I don’t consider that the same as running one combo for “season after season”.

When I had my roller cammed 448 in my heap running 10’s, that combo remained unchanged for 3 seasons of bracket racing.
A couple hundred passes........ no changes to anything.

But, I still say that for the amount of 11-sec passes(well...... attempts at 11’s) 318will will make in a season...... a stock 360 short block in good condition would be “no problem” at the required power level for the target goal.
He’s going to change something around with it after a season anyway.
Yes.. the same bottom end.. the same Cam and the same heads and lifters.
Same intake same exact same transmission...
Yes I did take the heads off and put 202 valves in from 188 but same exhaust same Springs.. I did take the 273 rockers off and put Hughes 1.6:1 rollers.. I did regrind the cam recently and had the lifters retouched up but the same ones...
But more to my point the bottom end is untouched.. and besides the intake valves themselves all the wearing parts are the same..
