13.3's to 11.8's to Forget it...

And as far as @yellow rose gos and all his post.. please he is the king of lip service...
I say pull that Rusty X-block off the floor and stop the lip service....

Really? I've thrown out probably 500 runs just in my car. Not counting my brothers junk. My cousins junk (probably put 100 run on it, maybe more while you were supposed to be down there rotating the earth and every one of those got **** canned when he died) and a half dozen other cars I driven wher the owners kept the time slips.

Your time slips don't mean **** to me. I've TUNED other people's cars, for money for more runs that you and ten of your buddies can add together and count.

As is typical of you, you make the rules (time slips make you right) and then poo poo anyone who won't produce what you want, because it's a stupid, second grade metric that doesn't mean a thing.

I have literally thousands of runs including blown alcohol, injected alcohol, carb and injected gas, tuning with a magneto, what ever. How can I produce time slips for that? I forgot about the blown gas friend I helped. Most guys who have a brain larger than a pea, deep six the time slips. They are a PITA to keep track of. The rest of us, who don't use time slips as a metric of knowledge or ability, we keep log books. Because that's what is easy to work back and forward from. Not finger fondling a bunch of stupid pieces of paper. I never logged my stuff on a computer, because I didn't take one to that track. The guys still racing I'd assume are all doing that on computer.

BTW, I was using and getting paid to tune tunnel ram combo's right out of the army in 1983. But that doesn't count, because it doesn't meet that screw ball standard you have tried to lay on anyone you think you can intimidate.

If you want me to, I can go back and literally detail, with seer type clarity how many times you didn't listen to me, and others to YOUR OWN EXPENSE.

And now you want to save 318HVTWF from himself!!! Classic hypocrite.

Maybe you should slow down and take some of your own medicine. I would have told you to save your money on the heads, and pay me 500 bucks to come over and tune your stuff up and do more than those heads will get you.

But I know you, and people like you. When I'm there, I don't lift a wrench. I bark out orders like John Wayne on a cattle drive. Question me once, challenge me just once, and I bounce. And I'd tune my mother the same way.

I'm not there to educate you. I'm there to help you. But you won't listen.

So grind out your own way. It's frustrating. But as my uncle used to say, me no cares.
