When Uli and Irina were here a couple years ago, they introduced us to a favorite of theirs....Der Schlonka, or “the red and the white”. It’s Ketchup and Mayo mixed together in a swirl. Good with fries, my wife and kids still use it now.

So true. Raw meat is no joke. Any meat. Raw pig can give you trichinosis (sp????) and raw seafood will make you wish you were dead.
IIRC, the C/J disease is passed though the bovine by feeding them bone meal and processed blood meal from other animals. I may not be correct about that, but I think I'm close.
Raw meat is not to be messed with.

This solely depends on the cut of meat and how it was cooked. A bad steak needs ketchup.
In that case I would still prefer A-1 or extra seasoned salt etc. But, if the cook already ruined it feel free to try to salvage it any way you like. Or take your chances and send it back. I rarely send anything back cause then ya gotta wonder what they might do to the next thing they give you.

I do use Heinz ketchup, cause there is no other kinds. Up here Walmart carries Mayochup. 1 of my friends puts ketchup in every kind of soup except for tomato soup. No cheese on burgers is just wrong. Kim
