Is 1966 Valiant grille the same as Barracuda?

The valiant grille will bolt up but it looks totally different from a Barracuda grille, also the Valiant grille is aluminum, the Barracuda grille is pot metal. If your drivers side grille is OK then put up a wanted ad for a good passenger side Barracuda grille. Here are some pictures of a 66 Barracuda with the Valiant grilles (top) and one with the 66 Barracuda grilles (bottom).

Actually, my drivers side isn’t very nice either, but my passenger side is destroyed. I think I’ll buy this Valiant grille I’ve seen for sale.

Mine has the same silver/red scheme as yours. But my car is a long way from looking like yours!
Kevin74- thank you for the compliment. My car was silver and red factory with stripe code. I’m glad I decided to return it to the factory silver. It is really sharp when all the chrome and stainless is done. Red interior parts are easy to come by BUT it seems nobody uses the same red color when they make parts. Good luck on yours. I’d love to see some pics.

Keep in mind that the head light rings or “bezels” are different between 66 Valiant and Barracuda...you will need Valiant rings if running the Valiant grilles.
I think one or the other will bolt up, but just not look right. Many people think they are the same till they bolt them up...my dad did this on his many years ago with Valiant ones on his Barracuda and there was a big gap between the ring and grille...
