Inversion Table

-
I was going to buy one, but right now I'm working toward going to Houston and getting a ring dinger from Dr. Gregory Johnson.

I think once I've got that done, an inversion table would then do the most good.

How do you find the part that holds your feet/ankles?
How long have you had it?
Thanks!
It could use a bit more padding and/or surface area. I'm 6'2" and 235 lbs so when I go near inverted, there is some tension and pressure in the ankle area. I would not say it is painful, but it isn't completely comfortable either. A little more area to spread the load would help some, but it will always be there to some degree. It doesn't stop me from using it though. You only need a few minutes at a time, not like I'm hanging there for half an hour. We got ours in the spring. Everyone in the family uses it. Easy to switch between me and my 5'4" wife or kids. For the price, I'm very happy with it.

I'm thinking about buying a used one... lots on FB. Got 5 bad discs and stenosis plus arthritis. Would never go all the way inverted... too fat for that.

I was surprised the first time on my inversion table (Innova Brand) this morning when the incline was set to a mere 15 degrees, it felt like I was almost upside down! The settings are: 15, 30, 45, 60, 85, and 90 degrees. I hope to find it stretches out the old 64 year-old backbone a bit.

I remember seeing pictures of you, over the years, and then the last one where you're leaning on a tailgate
id imagine you'd be an easy 2 inches taller if you got straightened out a bit

As a teen Mom would constantly harass me "Stand Up Straight!". Poor posture always has been one of my Achilles' heals.

Update:
After using the table several minutes almost every morning, I witness no big changes (good or bad). On only one occasion did I feel/hear one small crack/pop in my spine like those you would find during a chiropractor alignment session. I keep expecting to hear some more cracks like that, but no repeats yet.
