So my sons 70 Dusters gauges do not work the speedo dose not work well, the temp gauge, oil pressure, don't work, amp gauge disconnected, fuel gauge dose not work, etc, we tried a different limiter, so at this point just want to rebuild the cluster with something new, thinking of making a new plastic center and maybe a wood overlay or something then drilling for independent gauges, just wondering what everyone is using, also trying to keep this on a budget, some of the stuff we are seeing out there are like 1k USD , not what we are looking for we are in Canada and NOTHING ships across the boarder cheap by the time you pay outrageous shipping cost, brokerage cost, and exchange rate at 30% that 1k item is 1300 bucks, tell us what you did.

Yep, that's exactly what I want to do, great walk through, now where the hell did they get the gauges for under 200 bucks?
i've bought a lot of used gauges (kind of a sickness actually ) ebay / craigs list / FABO / the HAMB

I used Equus gauges from Napa. They had to order on the correct fuel gauge but had the rest in stock. With that I got a GPS speedo from China on Ebay. I modified my stock gauge bezel to accept the aftermarket gauges. I am in Canada too.
