I'm rebuilding a 70 GT right now! Yep 71 was the last year. 70-71 GTs all are based on 2 door Dart Customs (VIN stars with LH23) and there should be a Dart Custom logo on the glove box door. They were all bucket seat console cars. I tried to get Glovier to figure out how many LH23 cars were built those years - offered to pay him to do it and NEVER EVEN GOT A RESPONSE... A-body guys never get no respect.
Coolest thing on 71s is the big chromed pot metal logo that says Dart GT on the rocker panel on both sides - One year only piece for a car that was rare to start with...
