Since I have been busy hunting and havent done much to my car I have found that I havent been getting on here as often as normal. So I wanted to do a hunting thread so us hunters can tell stories (lies) and share pictures of our game. I haven't killed anything yet but have seen alot of does and small bucks I have a couple good bucks on camera I'm hoping to see soon.

Wow that's a good deer! Tell him congratulations for me ! I gave up bow hunting a couple years ago I sold my bow for car parts lol I plan on saving up and getting a crossbow this off season for next year.

We live in a suburban area where hunting is prohibited. The 16 point buck standing out in my back yard last night just 15’ from me without a care in the World would make you cry.

If this was Cincinnati, I would have nailed his *** with a crossbow as was legal there on any private property in the suburbs.

Best I could do here was throw a rock at his big ***. :(

Its amazing how big they really can get when they are allowed to age. But what's sad is when an area is overpopulated they will die a slow suffering death from starvation, predators, old age, cars, etc. Be managed and conservation and getting consumed makes much more sense to me but what do I know lol.

Took this one with my bow a couple weeks ago in Michigan. Gun season opens 11/15, so I hope to catch up with one of the big ones I keep getting pictures of!

Nov 1st, Pa archery season. Grunted this guy in to 10 yards. He thrashed every tree on the way in. Exciting hunt for sure!

Apparently starting this thread was my good luck charm. Got this guy today about 2 pm he isnt the biggest in the woods but he put on a show for me I was tickled to death to be able to take him. I passed on 3 smaller bucks today and this one stepped out. It's really cool because we never saw him before yesterday he showed up on trial camera yesterday morning and had been on every camera multiple times in the last 24 hours. He came out at 150 pm and chased a doe and fault with a smaller 7 and pushed a button buck around. And I shot him at 154pm my trail camera got a picture of him at 153pm seconds before I shot him if you look to the right you can see the button buck on the other side of the big oak.

I got a moose this year. 505 lbs of meat. I just started deer hunting yesterday morning. Had a very exciting hunt with a buck making a scape line about 50 yards behind me through the trees. Never did see him but he sure has a big hoof print. I will be chasing his as for sure next week as that is when I go at it full tilt.

Here's a couple of photos from the moose hunt showing both bulls we got on the hunt.

Good luck hope you get him! That moose is awesome I'd love to be able to hunt them iv always wanted to go on a moose and elk hunt.

I love moose meat!

I leave at 7am tomorrow to drive to Missouri with my 18 yr old daughter for gun season. My brother is still back there and a family friend lets us hunt his farm. Awesome family weekend. I'll return next weekend with my 13 yr old son. This area has big bucks and DNR says they need at least four points on one side to be legal. We quit taking the little basket rack 2-3yr olds a couple years ago. Now the deal is if you shoot a buck you have to pay to mount it, so it better be worth it. Its worth the $225 out of state tag, no doubt. I'll see somewhere between 40-60 deer this weekend if it is a normal year. Really looking forward to bettering the ~140" eight point I took a couple years ago. Daughter says she will do me a point better, and I don't doubt her. The girl can flat shoot.
