Hey, that's in pretty good shape for $1200! Good thing you found it before me, I'd have been tempted to bring it home myself.

That's straight as an arrow, and pretty much complete? Damnn.............Haul it down here, I got a 403 waiting for it.

Love the hanging distributor......

Not sure if you guys are just trying to make me feel better. It's a pretty basic V8 car with drum brakes. I wanted the 8 3/4 rear and not the car. He said make an offer so here I am with another one I'll probably never get to.

Grab the 8.75, bolt a 7.25 under there and pass it on. Bring a trailer. I think you got a diamond in the rough.

Thanks guys, maybe i can show my wife this thread and get out of the dog house. At this point she'd rather I flush the money down the toilet than bring another roller home.

Awesome score, Craws. How are the floors? Looks like a solid keeper.
They are all good, from looking from underneath anyway. I'll know more when I take the pressure washer to it.

Ya make me wanna move west.
This thing was on craigslist for a month, 30 minutes from me. He wouldn't tell anybody how much he wanted for it on the phone. He said you had to look at it and make him an offer. I should have offered less but you guys are helping me with my buyers remorse.

I hear ya. He was just done with it and figured any offer he got was OK if the person making the offer was good about matters.

I have had people try and chew me down to the point of I should pay them to remove the car and there so kind to do it for me since it is such a hassle for them to come all this way for a $500 car. I really don’t know what they expected for $500. It pretty much speaks for itself at that price.

A member here made me a ridiculously low offer for his own carb. I only enquirer ed about as it sat in his trunk. He said it’s a 750, give me $20 for it and the tuning kit.
.:wtf:
I ended up giving a bit more but he was refusing anything higher. It was a extremely low use Edelbrock 750 w/tuning kit.

This car was actually dropped at a metal recycle place, to be crushed. I knew the guy got it for free before I went there. One mans junk.....

Crap ! I prefer the Coupe/Notch design far more than the fastback. This is the only A Body Barracuda that I would ever build to keep.

I have an extra ex uhaul car dolly that can go with the car and I can get it on hwy ready rollers...... but I don't want this to turn into a sell thread. I have to at least see what's in the trunk tomorrow.

How is it for rust? It looks really good.

I haven't pulled back the carpet but I did look it over good from underneath, It is solid from what I can tell. Will know more tomorrow, I will post pics of what is inside the trunk and pics of the trim tag tomorrow.

That car would have to wait for me to finish up 3 other projects. I just started working on THIS car:
