LOL...yes, the driver's side is technically the left side of the car. The offset adapter moves the M/C to the left from the perspective of sitting in the car. But no matter the semantics, the net effect is to move the M/C away from the engine and towards the fender, creating additional clearance between the M/C and valve cover.
