Just a FYI:
A 8 inch Ford rear from a early Mustang, Comet, and some others, with the (V-8) 5 on 4.5 bolt circle, is a 90 percent bolt in swap. Don't even need to change the drive shaft, just a conversion U-Joint, or (what I would do) have the Ford "ears" put on the Mopar drive shaft. Then just use a stock Ford U-joint.
