Got my schematics out for the 1157 bulb sockets in rear. Dark green feeds left stop, brown feeds right stop. Traced all the way up to turn signal switch. Original headlight switch, aftermarket turn signal switch.Power to brown but not to green wire. Everything else works great..turn signal, markers, tails, etc. Anyone know what feeds the brown and dark green? Any help appreciated! Tom

Stop lite wire is the same as turn signal wire. Probably have a bad t/s switch. Wiggle the t/s handle and see if you get juice for the brake lite.

If the car came with hazard flashers, try them and see what you get.

Ive got all my signals front and rear. Turns work, 4 ways work, just no left brakelight. Tested for power at dark green in back to the front...nothing. brown wire for right brakelight we got. I didn't know if those are fed by turnsignal switch. Whole column was rebuilt

when you replaced the TS switch did you have to pull the connectors from their plastic housing and feed the wires down then re insert them into the plastic housing?

If so maybe two wires reversed? or a connector inserted pushed itself out?

I did check myself there too! New switch came with no plug, just loose wires.

Just to help- there is one brake light wire going into the switch and that is where it splits into left and right. When you make a turn, the switch must cancel the brake light for that side and allow that side now to flash as a turn signal. Don't be afraid to remove the wires from the connector. To re-install, just match the wires from the other side of the connector.

Thanks yall

Also, it seperates front from rear,
Signals only on front, may want to check for a crossed wire. Maybe a light is coming on at the front when brakes applied.
