Are my calipers on the right way?

Are those metal plates on correct? They don't look right.

Looks like 7 or 8 o'clock on the piston

Point is that the piston should be below the bleeder to allow air to be let out of the top of the piston bore.
I think the brand new retainer plates make them look odd, but they are on correctly.
(The bolt area indents and puts pressure on the top edges of the pad backing plates, and the hoop section goes over the top of the caliper to retain it in the slider area.)
Calipers are just on the wrong sides as mentioned.
