I paid close to that for my 64 Valiant. It needed rear floor pans which I have already replaced and other now small rust repairs. The car had sat up since 1982 but I got it runnin very easily and drove it for a couple months earlier this year. But yours is a Barracuda. Even no engine, you did really good.

I am relocating from WA state to my home state of TX in 18 months after retiring from the USN. I have to pick and choose what I take down with me. I need to stop looking on craigslist.
 
But do it have a title?
If it do, it's a real bargain.
If not, you'll still come out ahead

That's a great score! Love the Notches for sure. Can't wait to see the treasure trove in the trunk. I found factory keys, the lost trunk lock, dome lens, a spare e brake. Some of this stuff appeared only after a spin on the rotisserie.

Yes I did. I'm just saying I knew that the scrap yard only paid whomever dropped the car off for scrap. Essentially free for them. At todays prices 1 ton of scrap is worth$42.

@greymouser7 is a personal friend of mine and also retired from the USN. He's somewhere in Texas too. I tagged him so maybe he'll chime in.
