Can I use the fly wheel for the 98 360 magnum with the clutch assembly off 72 duster in a 833 trans

Not a 100% but I thought the best way was to use a steel 440source flywheel with a brewers counterweight.

So that fly will will work on my magnum engine but with my 72 duster bell housing and transmission right? I’ll just need to get the standard 72 duster clutch assembly to make it all fit together? And then will the standard starter fit or because I wanted to go with the mini starter on the ram versus the big old anchor that came on my car.

If you an get the proper flywheel for the “Magnum/5.8” engine, then the pressure plate and clutch will slide right on and work no problem inside what ever MoPar bell housing works with the size flywheel your using.

There is a different external balance requirement for the LA 360 & the 5.9/360 Magnum

The magnum fly wheel with the 72 clutch set up. So I went to O’Reillys and have them pull out the magnum fly wheel and a 72 duster clutch set up the fly wheel and the pressure plate and the clutch will bolt up perfectly. the only‘s problem I see is factory 72 is 132 tooth fly wheel and the 98 is 143

Well THAT is a pretty huge problem. The 143 normally fits the bigger bells used in the pickups and so on and was never used in a car, especially an A body.
