If you want real data in choosing your /6 upgrades I plotted the data from this article:

It seems to me the Dutra Duals are cools looking but for the bang for the $600 buck is not there for me in the typical cruising RPM but letting it breath has a HUGE benefit.

nice article!! i got some manifolds half the cost same performance if your interested. Going dual was a great choice for my slant
 
Split the factory intake front of stove aka "Dutra econo rear". Weld the front 3 closed and add a flange at #2, use the welded closed rear flange as is.
 
I take that the Stock Torque & HP numbers is with a 1BBL?

This was Doug Dutras concept before he cast his own. Worked pretty good but shorty hyperpak header deaign would work better if your not interested in carb heating.
