Hi all, looking for chrome ac vents for our 67 cuda. Similar to one in pics. We dont need the large plastic housing.

That used to be Frank Mitchell Mopar Parts. Frank's dead now, but they are still runnin the business. They ain't cheap, but they probably have them.
 
They are showing the 2607942 in stock. You'll have to contact them for a price.
 
Thanks Rob, thats weird, I clicked on their link, "big blue box" in middle of their page and it showed nothing. But tried another link and it worked. Their site needs some work. I dont need NOS just looking for nice, but well see how much.

I did a general internet search using both numbers and came up with zero......so.......lol Good luck man. Maybe somebody here will have a pair reasonable. If I had a pair you could have them......useless as that is. lol
 
Yeah I did same thing google had nada. Funny the one in the pic I bought a while back, #2607943, stamped right on it but its NOT in the parts manual...:BangHead:. Cars in storage so I cant verify squat lol.

Chrome plated pot metal didn't hold up well at all in this application. I think any used you find will have some pitting. What I have available here look about same as yours.
These vents were changed to black plastic in 1973 ( not sure why it took about 10 years for ma mopar to make this change ). Plastic are exactly the same shape/fitment, interchangeable.
I personally see too much chrome and like the black vents better. One could have the plastic ones covered with a chrome like paint, or vacuum metalized and clear coated.

Did you call Mitchell Mopars to see if they actually had that one?
 
if you look close
there are a few very small specks
they are nice
best i have ever seen

I may have them Steve. I will be able to check this weekend. If it's still where I think it was last put the vents will be in great shape (dry storage....)
