Mine are going Hemi orange. (Putting the car back to how it originally came) I was talking with Joel H Cooper about the scoops recently (the 70 dart 340 guru) and he was saying the only time they were black was when you got the v21 hood blackout treatment. Maybe yours was done by the dealership when it was new?
My dad painted his black when he had his 340 dart 20yrs ago.
