Taper angle for upper BJ, late style.

Hello guys,

I have purchased a set of upper control arms from QA1, to suit the later big BJ. As I am in Australia, I don't have the later stub axles, so I am going to have to ream the tapered seat in the stub.

Can someone tell me the angle of the taper of the BJ stud? I was thinking it was 7 degrees, so I purchased a 7* ream, but the ream is a far wider angle than the BJ.

I have seen bushings to install the early small BJs, into the late big knuckles

That's actually the other way about. It's to install the big spindle to the small BJ.
