My second 1965 Dodge Dart.

Yesterday a bit after I replaced the wiper blades the rain started pouring down, really bad. So, the dirt you can see on the car I expect to be gone now. But, I need to get going with testing the heater core. I have had a hose at one end, and sucking on the other end with my mouth while plugging the other copper tube, and I could not feel any leak. But, sometimes there is a crack that is sealed when cold, but when the hot water from the engine runs through, it opens up and you can smell that sort of sweet smell from the coolant inside the car. Well, if it is leaking it has to be fixed, because it is too cold in the winter to use the car with no heater. It will be fog on the inside of the windshield I need to get rid of.

Will need a little more coolant maybe too to top it up.

The reason for assuming it might be leaking is that why would they have disconnected the heater core and gotten rid of the hoses if it was intact. Well, I guess maybe if there is an air leak inside the heaterbox so hot air comes into the cabin, then it make sense to do it too. We'll see. Right now I need heat, and not cold. :)
