Install disc brakes from a car that used the larger pattern.
The 1973-76 A-body disc brake cars have all the parts you need and they bolt on just like the older drum stuff.

You go locate the correct parts. New or used? Safety and your life is too important vs trying to save a few dollars.

So, is there a way to change the drum to a 4.5 bolt pattern from a b body to fit on the stock 71 duster control arm or to do this u have to switch to a 73 and up disc brake as I take it they did not make drum front brakes from 73 and up?

here is how on the front.. https://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/dbconversion.shtml

there is another way and you can keep drum brakes up front but to me thats just a waste of time...

for the rear if you are keeping the 7 1/4 then just find a newer big bolt 7 1/4 and bolt it in.. of find a abody 8 1/4 and bolt it in. gonna need different shock plates and ubolts though. or find a abody 8 3/4 and but b,c,e ebody drums on it with a set of big bolt axles. gonna need shock plates and ubolts too.

They did have drum brake A bodies up through the end in 76, usually six or 'teen cars. Oddly, they kept the 4" bolt circle for the 4 wheel drums. No reason to keep drums when disc is so much better and safer. 73-76 A body disc cars are getting hard to find. The F-M-J cars with disc are a good source, despite the spindle being about 3/8" taller.

Scarebird make a kit that uses the drum spindle. Mopar I believe there are other mfg that may do something similar. Then there's still the rear. Good suggestions above. Is your car still a six?

Dr. Diff will have everything you need for the conversion.

All Dr Diff parts.

Buy new axles from Moser or have your axle flanges redrilled at your local machine shop.

Let me suggest using a company that sells a kit with new or professionally remanufactured parts (like Dr. Diff) for front disks. Safety is key. Pricewise, by the time you buy a used setup and go through everything yourself, there might not be much of a price difference.

Remove the small bolt pattern stuff and install big bolt pattern stuff.

The beauty of Wilwoods you can run big or small bolt pattern and EVERYTHING is NEW:thumbsup::thumbsup:
