CCW guys and gals- any good deals on firearms this week?

Oh , get a good holster , not a cheap one . Makes the world of difference
I just invested in a new holster
Usually I use a holster that hangs from my belt, toss over a Hawaiian shirt, or a suit coat and no one is any the wiser

A few weeks ago I was shooting hoops with some sundayschool kids and they spotted it
(Funny thing is, our church kids couldn't care less, most of them grew up around guns, but our bus kids are pretty intrigued by it)
So, I think it is time to conceal a little more

DIY, that hurts........
You can not deny how functional they are. I have no love affair with Glocks, but I do have two.
Weren’t you driving a Ford.........

I could be wrong here, but I have never understood the appeal of glocks. They are much too square and blocky. In ergonomics things are generally round and smooth. Then again I have a thing for round and curvy,Growing up I had pictures of ferraris on my bedroom walls, not volvo's.Women gotta have the right curves in the right places...I like my guns to have some curves too..

Yeah, but that ford had a ruger in the glovebox

Seeing them in the movies helped make and keep them popular. The gun market has changed big time over the last 10 years or so. 20-30 years ago my fantasy pistol was a 45 ACP but I still don’t own one today, or never will. Now it’s more about being small and accurate at 10 feet or less. I bought a bigger S&W off my brother in law 6 years ago and took it to the range once and now it sits at home loaded in a quick to grab safe spot. I guess if I was smart I would hide it in my shop for those late nights in the shop for my 150 foot walk to the house. But living in the country chances are I have s better chance of seeing a bear or coyote than I do a crackhead.

Used to carry a Glock 22 but several weeks ago ran across the aforementioned S&W Shield 9mm for $269 out the door at a local gun show. Been thinking about a smaller EDC for a while and glad I bought it. Sweet shooter and much more comfortable to CC than a full-size. Another pleasant surprise was the $50 rebate at S&W when I went online to register it. And I don't mind telling you what I carry since you'll never know I have it until I have to draw it. :p
And I bought the Shield with the internal safeties like my Glock since I don't want to worry about working a safety off or chambering a round if TSHTF.
Had a Ruger SR9 with 4 safetys , crazy ! Traded for the Sig , no safetys . Better but you gotta pay attention .

I’m offended. I had a Ford a Maverick back in the 1970’s and it too was an automatic. Lol.

No it was a 300 straight 6 that believe it or not ate 318 darts for breakfast. I still to this day dislike 318’s because of it.
The guy I gave my bronco to is tossing the 351 in favor of a straight six (i presume it's a 300)

Picked up the XD-9 last night, first impression is pure beef and quality. Made by our NATO allies in Croatia. The Defender version is bare bones, one 16 rd. magazine, a lock and a bore brush. I doubt there is anything out there even close for $300.

I sound like an SA salesman..lol

I have my blinkers turn on for one of these...
