Found the 2 bbl. Setup in the depths of the basement.....I have never had a 2 bbl exhaust manifold.

I have never owned or worked on a slant , my mom had one tho.
I f I had one I would b highly tempted to build a "junior" tunnel ram for it , runners a little higher/away from the exhaust , and ''equal '' length . Multiple small carbs ------------

I wouldn't worry at all about using a stock exh. manny. As long as the exhaust system is free flowing enuff,(turbo muff etc.), it will still run better with the 2bbl. The 4bbl. might be a waste w/o a decent cam & head under it, the exhaust would be less important than those, ever see the contorted pipes on a Caddy Northstar? Ever ride in one? Obviously the head & intake flow is of greater importance, I'm all for headers & big pipes where one can put & need them, in Your case.....nada.....................................

Ever see the factory headers on the first ones that had them on the 5.0 Fox Mustangs? They look terrible yet some of those car hauled *** for their time.

Hole saws are stackable, no? well thread the arbor into them both. Smaller one serves as a pilot.

Lets say you made a hole 1-1/2”,realized its too small. How do you make it larger when pilot for hole saw is gone. Use the 1-1/2” as the pilot and thread it into the one you need. Works slick.
I wasn't aware that you could do that. I'm embarrassed to admit I've never ran into a project yet that required me to use a hole saw. Thanks for the tip! I'll remember that one for when the time rolls around.
