Got a call from my daughter at 2:00am and just knew it was going to be bad, she told me my 17 year old nephew was in a bad wreck and they stat flighted him to UofL hospital in Louisville Ky. Said he was thrown from the vehicle and was found in the field 30 feet from the truck. I immediately called my brother fearing the worst and found that he had no broken bones or internal bleeding, found out they hit a deer and flipped the truck, he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, which I think is bad, but he only suffered a concussion and was sent home with scrapes and bruises, this has been a very thankful Thanksgiving for me. His friend that was driving only suffered whiplash and a few cuts on his face. The lord was with them.

Sorry to read Mitch but glad they are "ok"!! Hope they learned a lesson with seatbelts! Not often you get thrown from vehicle and survive!

Sorry to hear about your nephew and his friends getting hurt, good news they weren’t seriously hurt.

Sucks that the accident happened, but getting out of it only a little roughed up is good news for sure! I know that feeling of hearing about an accident and not getting any more info for a while. My daughter was in a bad accident in June. Just got cleared to lift 20lb and can go back to work on Monday.

Yeah they are blessed. That was a bad one.

Wow !
Very amazing !
God has plans for those boys !
Thanks for sharing !
We all have so much to be thankful for !

A family friend is marking the sixth anniversary of his daughter's death today.
Hold those kids tight! This is a lucky day for them.

The Lord has something for those boys, and your nephew in particular, to do one of these days. I'd have a party for them, and not let them leave until they sat and watched a few "Room to live" videos! So glad they're ok!
