So on the stock chassis, if you remove the inner fenders you’re removing the only thing that triangulates the front frame rails and ties them to the firewall. They’re also the only thing that supports the shock mounts.
Unless you have a full cage that’s a terrible, terrible idea. Even with the inner fenders in place there’s still a significant amount of flex in the front half of the chassis.
