If you can pony up a few bucks, PPG has a camera that will take pictures of any color paint, and match it.
Shoot the red tractor paint on a piece of sheet-metal, and they can match it in single stage or BC/CC no charge.
This ^^^^^ is exactly what I am going to do. Since Matt uses PPG products, I am going to prep a piece of metal, paint it with the Rustoleum spray safety red I have and send it to the paint store so they can match it with a high quality single stage enamel. Since I work for Matt now, I will get his discount on the paint. This way, I will have the right kind of paint that has all the UV protection in it and it will last. More progress forthcoming.
