Just bought my first car, a 1975 Plymouth Scamp, and am a Mopar guy so figured I would make an account and introduce myself, work full time apprenticeship at a classic restoration shop learning a combo of mechanical work, fabrication work and old school sheet metal working.

Welcome from on the hill in northeast Arkansas

:welcome: Hope you have a great future of putting many old Mopars back on the road!

this is the car, sitting in the shop on my grandparents property(even though they aren't car people), factor discs up front factor buckets, factor 318, 2 door, the trunk floor and one 1/4 are bad but aside from that mostly surface rust, missing nuts and bolts and i have a feeling wiring is gonna be a mess.
Thanks for all the welcomes everyone.

Welcome, from another Lower Mainlander with a ‘75 Scamp!

I recall seeing that on Craigslist for a bit. It’s actually a ‘75 Valiant Brougham instead of a Scamp. The Brougham was the premium offering in the A body lineup. Standard equipment was more sound insulation, chrome trim, plusher carpet, velour seats, front disc brakes, AM radio, 3 speed wipers, front sway bar, special wheel covers and undercoating amoung a few other things compared to the Scamp.

Regardless, ask away with any questions! Out of curiosity, what’s the colour code? L6 (Aztec gold) or T9 (Dark chestnut)?

Welcome to the site, it looks like a good car as is.
You'll have fun with this one..........

Welcome from Upstate NY. I've got a '75 Valiant Brougham myself. It is mostly apart now, but I'm slowly getting it back together. I see you have the Brougham steering wheel, the Velour seats, like mine, my brakes are manual, no power brakes. I'm by no means an expert, but willing to answer questions if you need. Need to save these Broughams! Do you have the buddy seat/armrest between the buckets?

there is a bracket but no buddy seat or center console, might have been there before, will check the color code next time I'm at my grandparents shop as that's where I'll work on it.
