1991 swap

Ok i was told motor was out of a 1991 due to serial info on computer so thanks for setting me straight. I have this engine in a late 60s truck i got that way as a project that never ran due to harness not squared out. It has the transmission attached to it from that same 90s vehicle. So i am just trying to get it running without braking bank.

I would argue that the cheapest way to get it running is to finish the Magnum swap someone else started. I would start by researching "Magnum swaps" and see if you can figure out what is missing.

Second idea is to try and swap a carb onto the motor and get rid of the EFI. It will probably mean you will have to control the OD transmission manually or get some pressure switches, but not an impossible job. That is assuming you don't have a '96 or later motor with the electronically (RE) controlled transmission in which case you pretty much need to keep the PCM.

Your info on the computer would suggest you have a hydraulically (RH) controlled trans, but probably best to verify first.
