What do they run? 239 cfm intake?
Exhaust?
I paid $580 to check, populate, and valve job mine. Was happy for it!

Where have you been this last weekend under a rock? That's expensive...
After 20 years underwater, I might be rock domesticated!

Plus, like most of us, I don’t keep up with the Jones’s, unless I’m driving.

Please see the Race forum under sound the alarm..

I’ll need your number to just call you for the latest updates !!
Actually I have Speedmaster on an app on the front of my phone. Another member asked me to notify them when the heads went on sale and he was the first one I quoted on Thursday or Friday of last week..

I almost pulled the trigger on a manifold by itself it was a hundred and thirty-five to the door. You can't find a used small block intake manifold for 135.. also it's Magnum and La Universal...

820 fully loaded non CNC''d..
After reading all the posts here, albeit often Edelbrock, not just China production quality, I didn’t trust the springs, valve guides, people mentioned helicoils (MRL?) and after those comments, and learning here how important sealing the valve was, I just opted for a red blooded old timer machinist to assemble one of my sets.

I just lost my assets to Dvorak Machine, so I have to collect all the small parts again to populate the engine.

If you don’t get them checked out, I honestly hope you turn out alright. But I would be nervous for you.

I'll check them out myself but I'm not nervous one bit. The only thing that would even remotely make me nervous is the internet. The set thing I got sent to my door look like perfect jewels! It's just this internet that puts the Boogeyman in people's heads..
You got to have them checked out you got to do this you got to do that when you break it in you got to remove the inner Springs blah blah blah..
I'm 100% fine with everything and the word China doesn't scare me.. if the word China scared me then I shouldn't have drank that apple juice at the hospital..

You are probably right.
And I personally felt like mine looked like jewels as well.

For my money, it's my money and not China's money. Your mileage may vary. Not valid in Honduras.

Those trans pans I bought went back up $50.00 increase the next day on the Speedmaster site, so that was a golden find.:thumbsup:

Just sitting here thinking. The valves and springs going on mine cost more than the heads themselves. Or at least very close in cost. Lol.
